Sean Paul confirms US tour's second leg

Sean Paul has mapped out the next US leg of his world tour in support of last year's "The Trinity."

The Jamaican-born reggae artist will launch his latest set of US shows with a March 15 appearance in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The 19-date tour will cover areas of the country Paul missed the last time around, including Florida and the Midwest.

The combined US legs of Paul's current tour mark the performer's first domestic outing since 2002, when he was backing his "Dutty Rock" album.

Paul's most recent studio set, "The Trinity," was released last September. The album--which has sold more than one million copies worldwide--sold more than 107,000 copies in its first week, a figure certified by the Recording Industry Association of America as the best ever initial week performance by a reggae artist.

Paul will team with the Boys & Girls Club on the tour, collaborating on a program highlighting a "Youth of the Year" in each city Paul visits. Each teen selected will receive two tickets to one of Paul's concerts.
