R. Kelly maps spring theater tour

R&B artist R. Kelly has lined up two months worth of spring dates as he continues to support his 2005 album, "TP.3 Reloaded."

Dubbed "R. Kelly as Mr. Show Biz in The Light It Up Tour," the outing will feature a live band, and will be booked exclusively into theaters, according to Jive Records. Confirmed dates and ticket on-sale information are in the itinerary below; additional shows will be announced.

At next week's Grammy Awards, Kelly will be vying for a trophy in the Best Long Form Music Video category for his self-directed video "Trapped in the Closet (Chapters 1-5)."

The singer, songwriter and producer leads the list of nominees for the 20th annual Soul Train Music Awards, with three nods: Best R&B/Soul Single and Best R&B/Soul or Rap Video for "Trapped in the Closet," and Best Male R&B/Soul Album for "TP.3 Reloaded."
