Obie Trice wounded during New Year's incident

Eminem protege Obie Trice was wounded early Saturday morning (1/1) when an unknown shooter in another vehicle fired at least one shot through the back window of his SUV.

Trice, 28, was traveling a Detroit-area freeway with his girlfriend at about 1:10 a.m. when the bullet grazed the rapper's head. He was not seriously injured; according to the Detroit News, he was treated briefly at a local hospital and released. His girlfriend, who wasn't identified in news reports, was not injured.

Police reportedly have no suspects in the incident.
