David Gray to make up postponed dates in March
British singer/songwriter David Gray has announced a number of concert dates in March to make up for a November run of shows the singer canceled due to illness, as well as a number of new dates.
Gray postponed several shows after suffering laryngitis and an upper respiratory infection during his summer/fall U.S. tour, according to a press release.
Gray will kick off the outing March 1 in Atlanta, making up for his postponed Nov. 6 gig. Brand new dates in several cities follow before Gray resumes making good on the postponements with a March 9 appearance in Houston.
Pre-sale tickets for some of the shows are now available through Gray's website.
"Life in Slow Motion," Gray's third full-length release, hit stores Sept. 12. The singer's previous effort, 2003's multi-platinum "A New Day at Midnight," established Gray's staying power after his 2000 breakout hit single, "Please Forgive Me."
Gray's latest single, the ironically titled "Hospital Food," was released Nov. 30 in the UK & Ireland. The video for the single is available online.
