System of a Down
"Hypnotize"
(Sony)

Six months after its latest album, "Mezmerize," debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart, System of a Down will offer up disc two of its "Mezmerize/Hypnotize" project.

The band--guitarist/singer Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian, singer Serj Tankian and drummer John Dolmayan--recorded some 30 tracks for "Mezmerize/Hypnotize" at producer Rick Rubin's Laurel Canyon, CA-based studio between May and December of last year. "Mezmerize," released this May, was an immediate critical and commercial hit, selling some 453,000 copies during its first week in stores.

Enya
"Amarantine"
(Reprise)

The Irish songbird returns with her first new album in five years. "Amarantine," which was recorded in Ireland, features the woman born Eithne Ni Bhraonain once again collaborating with producer/arranger Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan.

Enya's last album, "A Day Without Rain," was the most successful release of her career, selling more than 6 million copies in the U.S. alone and moving some 13 million units worldwide. With overall catalog sales topping 50 million, Enya ranks as one of the biggest-selling female artists of all time. The only Irish act to sell more CDs than Enya is U2.

Michael Buble
"Caught in the Act"
(Reprise)

The jazz-and-pop star, who has drawn comparisons to such old-school greats as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, is indeed "Caught in the Act" on this CD/DVD live set.

The collection features the young vocalist crooning his way through such all-time classics as "Feeling Good," "Try a Little Tenderness," "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" (done as a duet with Laura Pausini), "Fever" and "Sway."

John Mayer Trio
"Try! John Mayer Trio Live in Concert"
(Sony)

Pop-heartthrob John Mayer--an immensely successful solo artist with a pair of multi-platinum records and three Grammy Awards to his credit--surprised many fans and critics when he decided to put together a hard-rocking trio earlier this year. The resulting band, dubbed the John Mayer Trio, was certainly a hit during its recent sold-out club tour.

"Try!" captures the young vocalist/guitarist, drummer Steve Jordan (Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones) and bassist Pino Palladino (The Who, Jeff Beck) during a September gig at the House of Blues in Chicago. The disc features a mix of Mayer originals and cover songs.
