Prosecutors Ask Judge To Increase Puffy's Bail

update: New York prosecutors have asked a judge to increase the bail of Sean "Puffy" Combs from $10,000 to $150,000. The rapper and record company mogul has been free on bail since he was arrested on weapons charges in December following a shooting incident at Club NY in Manhattan.

During today's (2/10) testimony, prosecutors also claimed that Combs tried to bribe the driver of the sport utility vehicle that carried him, his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and his bodyguard as they fled the club. Prosecutors claimed that Combs, while at the police station, offered Wardell Fenderson $50,000 and a ring to say that he owned the gun found in the SUV, according to the Associated Press.

Though the judge could have set bail conditions for both at today's hearing, the judge has delayed the decision until Feb. 22, a delay which could keep Combs from traveling to Europe next month for a scheduled tour.

Since his arrest, Combs has repeatedly maintained his innocence, claiming that he doesn't own or use a gun.

Prosecutors today also requested an increase in the bail of Jamal ''Shyne'' Barrow--who allegedly shot three people at the club on the night in question--from $35,000 to $500,000, according to the AP.
