My Chemical Romance takes off to the Great White North
My Chemical Romance, which last week wrapped up a U.S. headlining run, will take a swing through Canada later this fall, and will also squeeze in a couple more U.S. shows.
The New Jersey rockers have booked a Canadian trek that is currently scheduled to run from Nov. 27-Dec. 10. In the midst of that outing, they'll jet to West Palm Beach, FL, for a performance at a radio station festival dubbed The Buzz Bake Sale. That gig will feature 16 bands, including Staind, Our Lady Peace, Trapt, Story of the Year and Nonpoint. Details are posted at the event's website.
After wrapping up the Canadian run in Vancouver, British Columbia, the band will head south for a Dec. 11 show in Seattle. Details on the upcoming shows are included below.
Meanwhile, the group is gearing up for a European tour that launches Tuesday (11/1). Information about that outing is posted at the band's website.
My Chemical Romance is backing its sophomore set, "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge." Released in June of 2004, the album--which spawned the hit single "Helena"--debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart.
