Buckethead scoops up fall tour dates

Guitarist Buckethead--so named for the empty Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket that he wears over his dome--will mount a coast-to-coast tour this fall.

The month-long run, dubbed the "Disney World to Disneyland Tour," kicks off Oct. 21 in Orlando and makes stops in 24 cities. Details appear below.

The enigmatic axe slinger is hitting the road in support of his forthcoming album, "Enter the Chicken," which Serjical Strike Records--System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian's label--is scheduled to release on Oct. 25. The set features guest appearances from Tankian, Saul Williams, Efrem Schulz (Death By Stereo), Maura Davis (Denali, Bella Lea), Azam Ali (Vas, Niyaz), Bad Acid Trip, Maximum Bob (Deli Creeps), Gigi, Shana Halligan and Ani Maldjian.

Backing Buckethead onstage will be Dan Monti (bass, programming) and Pinchface (drums). The trio plans to perform "various Buckethead favorites as well as instrumental versions of tracks from ... 'Enter the Chicken,'" according to a press release.
