Gwen Stefani adds dates to fall tour
No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has added more dates to her North American arena tour in support of her multi-platinum solo debut, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby."
Her Interscope Records labelmates The Black Eyes Peas will support Stefani on all dates except for her Nov. 3 show in Atlantic City, NJ.
Dubbed the "Harajuku Lovers" tour, the outing--which takes its name from Stefani's forthcoming fashion line--launches in mid-October, and is now scheduled to visit 25 cities. The new leg of the tour kicks off Nov. 11 in Dallas and runs through a Nov. 25.
Released last December, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." is double-platinum certified for shipping two million copies in the U.S., and has sold more than five million copies worldwide, according to Interscope Records. Fueling sales are a trio of singles: "What You Waiting For?," "Rich Girl" and latest hit "Hollaback Girl," which has spent 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart, including several week in the No. 1 position.
Stefani was recently nominated for six 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year and Best Pop Video for "Hollaback Girl." A list of all her VMA nominations can be found at her official website.
Stefani is also set to appear at "Fashion Rocks," the second annual concert presented by Conde Nast media to kick off New York's Fall Fashion Week. The Sept. 8 event at Radio City Music Hall will also feature performances by Tim McGraw, David Bowie, Destiny's Child, Alicia Keys, among others. CBS-TV will air a two-hour, prime-time "Fashion Rocks" special Sept. 9.
