Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina hit the road this summer for their first tour together in almost 30 years.
The 40-date run--dubbed the "Sittin' in Again Tour"--kicks off in late June, and will touch down at a variety of venues, including arenas, amphitheaters and casinos. Details are shown below.
Tickets for the tour's June 29 stop are on sale now, and those for July stops in San Diego; Fresno, CA; and Greenville, SC; are scheduled to hit the box office Saturday (4/30). On-sale dates for the rest of the tour weren't available at press time.
Members of Loggins' fan club will have access to tickets before the general public, according to his website.
In conjunction with the tour, Columbia/Legacy has announced plans to release on May 24 "The Best: Loggins & Messina Sittin' in Again," will feature hits from the duo such as "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Danny's Song" and "Angry Eyes."
Loggins & Messina recorded a series of successful albums together in the seventies, but split before the end of that decade. The last time they toured together was in 1976.
