The ABC and MTV Networks have announced that they'll donate airtime to show a new public service announcement supporting anti-poverty and anti-AIDS efforts. The commercial was spearheaded by U2's Bono.

Besides Bono, the 60-second commercial issued by ONE--dubbed The Campaign to Make Poverty History--stars an unlikely cast that includes TV evangelist Pat Robertson, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jamie Foxx, Sean "P.Diddy" Combs and Susan Sarandon.

The ONE campaign argues that the U.S. government should spend an additional 1% of its budget--or $25 billion--on aid to the poorest nations.

Though its lineup hasn't been announced, all 2,000 pre-sale tickets for this year's Lollapalooza festival--set to take place July 23-24 at Chicago's Grant Park--sold out in 80 minutes Thursday (4/7), according to organizers.

The formerly traveling festival will be reborn this year as a one-city event that's expected to feature more than 70 bands on five stages.

Though the Eagles are touring extensively this year, singer/drummer Don Henley has found room in his schedule for a couple of solo shows in Florida. Performances are set for April 21 at Kissimmee's Silver Spurs Arena and April 24 at Estero's Germain Arena.

"Spanish Fly: Live in Spain," a live, greatest-hits DVD from Lou Reed, will hit stores on May 17. Among the 11 songs, which were filmed in 2004, are "Walk on the Wild Side" and the Velvet Underground classics "Sweet Jane" and "Venus in Furs."
