Incubus readies live DVD as tour rolls on

Currently on a short break, Incubus climbs back on board its tour bus this week for its next round of concerts, which lead up to the late-November release of a new live set.

The band's schedule resumes with a Wednesday (10/27) performance in New Hampshire, and dates extend into mid-November. Since first unveiling its itinerary earlier this year, the group has added stops in upstate New York, Quebec, Ontario, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota and Colorado. Details are shown below.

The tour is currently scheduled to wrap up just a few days before the Nov. 23 release of "Alive at Red Rocks," a concert film that the group recorded on July 26 at Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver. The DVD will be packaged with a bonus audio CD featuring previously unreleased studio tracks, a European B-side and two live tracks recorded in Sydney and Malaysia, according to Sony. More information is available at the band's website.

More new music from the group will turn up on the forthcoming "Halo 2: Original Soundtrack Volume One," a spin-off of the X-Box game "Halo 2." The soundtrack will include a new Incubus cut titled "The Odyssey"; the game will feature the band's hit "Follow."

Incubus has been on the road for much of the year in support of its latest studio set, "A Crow Left of Murder," which surfaced in February.
