Alter Bridge offers up more dates for inaugural tour

Alter Bridge, a group that features three former members of the now-defunct rock act Creed, has added more shows to its premiere North American tour.

The run now begins with a trio of early September shows in the group's home state of Florida, and a number of holes have been plugged in the outing's schedule, which stretches from late September to early November. Details are shown below.

Registered members of the band's website have a shot at tickets before the general public via online pre-sales. Details are available at the site.

Alter Bridge--Creed alumni Mark Tremonti (guitar), Scott Phillips (drums) and Brian Marshall (bass), along with former Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy--issued its debut album, "One Day Remains," on Aug. 10. The set sold about 95,000 copies during its first week out, and will enter The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 5, according to industry sources.

Helping spur sales is the album's lead-off single, "Open Your Eyes," which is streaming at Alter Bridge's website.
