Clay Aiken fills in more gaps in tour plans
Clay Aiken's summer/fall headlining tour has again been expanded, with a handful of new dates added from New Mexico to Minnesota.
Aiken, who has been on the road for much of the year, is focusing on the U.S. fair circuit, but is also scheduled to headline shows in large auditoriums.
Last October, Aiken offered up his debut album, "Measure of a Man." The set--which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart--features 2003's top-selling single, "This Is the Night," as well as the hit "The Way."
The "American Idol" series, which completed its third season in May, has spawned a number of tours over the course of its run. At the same time that Aiken is on the road this summer, latest winner Fantasia Barrino and the other finalists from the competition's third season are mounting their own outing.
Earlier this year, Aiken embarked on a co-headlining run with first-season winner Kelly Clarkson.
