IMAX Concert Film "All Access" To Feature Santana, Sting

IMAX, the giant-screen film company, has started production on a rock concert film called "All Access," which will combine performances by Carlos Santana, Sting and Phish's Trey Anastasio with footage of rehearsals, soundchecks and backstage conversations.

The 60- to 70-minute film will also include performances by Macy Gray, Kid Rock, Mary J. Blige, B.B. King, George Clinton, Sheryl Crow and Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas. Initial footage for the film, which is slated for a Feb. 2001 release, was recently shot at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles.
