E Street Shuffle: Shows Added, Louisville Date Changed
update: Strong ticket demand in several markets has led to the addition of several more dates to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's just-launched 2000 tour. The tour's concluding stand at New York's Madison Square Garden has been extended from five shows to 10, and second shows have been added in Pittsburgh and Hartford, according to promoters.
In other developments, the tour's stop in Lousiville, Ky., has been pushed back to April 15, a day later than originally scheduled.
Meanwhile, the final batch of ticket onsales--for all 10 shows in New York and for the Louisville gig--are scheduled for Saturday (3/4)
The 2000 tour opened Monday (2/28) in State College, Penn., and, according to Backstreets.com, a Springsteen fan site, the band hasn't done much tinkering with the set list since last year. Springsteen and band kicked off the set with "Lion's Den," in honor of Penn State's Nittany Lions.
