Reverend Horton Heat spreads the word through the fall

Road-seasoned psychobilly act the Reverend Horton Heat continues its busy tour schedule this fall, mixing dozens of headlining dates with a series of shows in support of The Sex Pistols.

The Reverend's current batch of dates with Southern Culture on the Skids and Throw Rag runs through Aug. 3, and appearances in support of The Sex Pistols are set through early September.

Several shows with The Blasters and BR549 are also scheduled for September, and a new series of shows with Southern Culture on the Skids and Throw Rag will run from Sept. 25 through Oct. 14. The full itinerary appears below.

The latest album from the Reverend (a.k.a. Jim Heath) and his backing duo--bassist Jimbo Wallace and drummer Scott Churilla--was 2002's "Lucy 7," which was produced by Ed Stasium (Ramones, Living Colour).

The follow-up to "Lucky 7"--which is the group's seventh album--is expected to be a live set that was recorded on Jan. 3 and 4 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA, but no release date has been announced.
