Doves Return to North America for Second Tour of 2002

English rock act the Doves, recently nominated for the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize for the second year running, will return to the U.S. and Canada this fall for its second North American tour of 2002.

Beginning Sept. 6 in Minneapolis and winding up Oct. 9 in Los Angeles, the Doves are touring in support of their second album, "The Last Broadcast." The band's recent U.S. club tour with kindred act Elbow sold out in every city.
