Blues Traveler adds dates, signs on for Warren Haynes Jam
Blues Traveler is set to kick off its latest round of touring on Friday (11/16) in Hawaii, and has filled in many of the gaps in its November and December mainland itinerary. The new dates include a performance at the 13th Annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam.
Gov't Mule co-founder Warren Haynes' Christmas Jam will take place in Asheville, N.C. on Dec. 21. In addition to Gov't Mule and Blues Traveler, that show will also include appearances from Phil Lesh and Friends, Drivin' and Cryin', Edwin McCain, Col. Bruce Hampton, Rick Derringer, Audley Freed, Dave Schools, Oteil Burbridge and others, according to Gov't Mule's official website.
The group's itinerary also includes a Dec. 1 performance at a benefit for Chicago's La Rabida Children's Hospital--an event that will also feature Melissa Etheridge and Five for Fighting--as well as two February dates at Caesar's Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
"Bridge" (A&M), Blues Traveler's latest album, was released in May and entered the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 91. It stayed on the chart for a total of six weeks, and ducked out in late June.
