Ani DiFranco plots summer dates to back new album

Ani DiFranco has lined up a month-long series of June and July U.S. tour dates in support of her forthcoming release "Revelling/Reckoning." The summer run will follow her current U.S. outing, which kicked off in late March.

DiFranco's "Revelling/Reckoning" (Righteous Babe) will arrive in stores on Tuesday (4/10), while the singer-songwriter herself will resume touring on Monday night (4/9) in Ohio. The current leg of her tour is scheduled to run through late April.

In addition to her current string of headlining dates, DiFranco is scheduled to perform in New York City on April 30 at an Aestra Lesbian Action Foundation benefit dubbed Women Who Rock, according to her label's official website.
