Christina Aguilera returns with 'Bionic' arena tour

Pop songstress Christina Aguilera will return to the stage this summer as she takes on a global tour behind her forthcoming album, "Bionic."

Aguilera will begin the 20-city North American leg July 15 in Uncasville, CT, followed by stops in major markets from one coast to the other through an Aug. 19 performance in Irvine, CA. The full schedule is shown at right.

British pop singer Leona Lewis will accompany Aguilera on the US portion of the tour, tickets for which go on sale in most cities beginning May 21 via Live Nation.

Fans who purchase tickets by June 4 will receive a link to download "Bionic" beginning June 7--the day before the effort hits retailers.

"Bionic" marks Aguilera's fourth studio set and the first since 2006's "Back to Basics." That album debuted atop The Billboard 200 and earned the performer a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Ain't No Other Man," as well as nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Candyman."

The video for "Not Myself Tonight," the lead single from "Bionic," is currently streaming at Aguilera's website.
