Lilith Tour adds Rihanna, unveils remainder of summer schedule

Organizers of the revived Lilith Tour have announced the addition of superstar Rihanna to the Salt Lake City lineup, as well as the final 20 dates for the summer outing.

Since last check, 16 shows have been added to the plan, which now encompasses 36 North American stops. The trek kicks off June 27 in Calgary and runs through an Aug. 16 performance in Dallas, TX. Details are shown at right.

Tickets for most shows are available via the event's website, while the remaining on-sales begin April 17.

Rihanna is the latest female artist to join the festival's founder, Sarah McLachlan, on the summer trek. Last month, McLachlan revealed plans for the June 15 release of "The Laws of Illusion," her first collection of new material in seven years.

Fans who pre-order the album at McLachlan's website will receive an instant download of her latest single, "One Dream," as well as have the opportunity to purchase Lilith tickets before they're available elsewhere.

Lilith organizers have revealed a lengthy list of performers (shown below) who will rotate through the event's lineup at various stops. Each concert will feature 11 artists, according to a press release, with only two consistencies among all dates: headliner Sarah McLachlan and the Local Talent Search winner. Details about which acts will appear at each of the various tour stops is available at the Lilith website.
