Flogging Molly maps spring tour dates

Flogging Molly has lined up spring headlining dates in support of the group's recent dual CD/DVD live release, which was recorded during a performance last year in Los Angeles.

The Celtic-punk outfit kicks off the run April 21 in Morris, MN. Following a May 8 appearance at the 12th Annual Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival in Henderson, NV, the seven-member band will head across the Atlantic for a slate of European shows. Those dates can be found at Flogging Molly's official website.

Flogging Molly's latest album, "Float"--which followed 2004's "Within a Mile of Home"--surfaced in spring of 2008, debuting at No. 4 on The Billboard 200, No. 1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and No. 2 on the magazine's Alternative Albums chart.

The band's previous studio set, 2004's "Within a Mile of Home," hit No. 20 on The Billboard 200 and topped the Independent Music Chart.

Early last month, the group released a multi-disc live set. The DVD/2-CD package, "Live at the Greek Theatre," was recorded during the band's performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in 2009. The set peaked at No. 40 on The Billboard 200.
