New Pornographers book summer tour dates 'Together'
Indie-rockers The New Pornographers have lined up summer tour plans behind their forthcoming fifth studio album, "Together," which is due in stores in May.
Following the band's May 31 appearance at the Sasquatch! Festival in Washington State, the headlining run gets underway June 7 in Calgary, Alberta, and runs through a June 28 show in St. Louis. A second leg of dates, covering the Western US and Pacific Northwest, kicks off July 15 in Vancouver. The trek closes Aug. 4 in Madison, WI. Details are shown at right.
"Together," the band's fifth studio album, arrives in stores May 4. The set features the ever-evolving band's core lineup--A.C. Newman, Dan Bejar, Neko Case, John Collins, Kurt Dahle, Kathryn Calder, Todd Fancey, and Blaine Thurier--along with contributions from Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Will Sheff of Okkervil River and Beirut's Zach Condon.
