Clutch hits the road with Danko Jones

Alt-rockers Clutch will continue to back last year's "Strange Cousins From the West" during a spring tour that will feature rock trio Danko Jones in the opening slot.

The two bands hit the road at the end of this month and are scheduled to touch down in more than a dozen cities by mid-April.

Before hooking up with clutch, Danko Jones will tackle a three-night engagement at this year's South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Austin, TX, as well as play a one-off set at West Hollywood, CA's famous Viper Room.

Details about all of the upcoming Clutch and Danko Jones dates are shown at right.

Clutch released its ninth full-length album, "Strange Cousins From the West," last July. The set debuted at No. 38 on The Billboard 200, marking the group's highest album debut to date.

The group recently offered up a limited-edition live album recorded last month in Melbourne, Australia. More information is posted at the band's website.

Danko Jones is gearing up for the May 18 release of its latest album, "Below the Belt." Samples of a couple new tracks are posted at the band's website.
