The Used map spring headlining tour

Alt-rockers The Used have lined up a spring headlining tour to support their most recent studio set, last summer's "Artwork."

The four-member group, which hails from Orem, UT, will kick off the outing with a headlining slot at the March 27 Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival in Las Vegas. The first non-festival appearance on the 17-date trek will follow April 13 in Columbia, MO. Chiodos and Minneapolis-based New Medicine will offer support on the tour, which ends May 2 in Portland, OR. Dates are at right.

"Artwork," The Used's fourth studio set and the follow-up to 2007's "Lies for the Liars," hit stores in August. The record's lead single, "Blood On My Hands," premiered on Apple's iTunes Music Store the same month, racking up more than 5,000 downloads on the day of its release, according to a press release.

The track--along with two subsequent singles: "Born to Quit" and "Empty With You"--is currently streaming at the group's MySpace page, along with the video for the latter song.
