As Tall As Lions 'Take It' to the streets
Indie-rockers As Tall As Lions will take on the largest headlining trek of their career this spring as they continue supporting "You Can't Take It With You."
The New York quartet will finish up a March support tour with Cage the Elephant before setting off on their own headlining run, which kicks off April 6 in Chicago. The outing is slated to visit clubs in 20 cities before concluding May 9 in Cambridge, MA. The full schedule, which includes an April 16 gig at Indio, CA's Coachella, is shown at right.
Fan-club members can now purchase advanced tickets for a reduced price via the band's MySpacepage. Those who take advantage of the presale will receive a free signed tour poster.
Last August, At Tall As Lions followed up their 2006 eponymous release with their third studio set, "You Can't Take It With You." The effort, which the group produced with the help of Noah Shain, debuted at No. 88 on The Billboard 200.
A limited-edition version of the album featuring a DVD of live footage and behind-the-scenes footage, as well as three bonus tracks, is available at BestBuy locations nationwide.
"In Case of Rapture," the latest single from the group's summer release, is currently streaming at the band's MySpace page.
In December, As Tall As Lions released a four-track EP entitled "The Circles."
