Extreme Thing fest welcomes The Used

The Used will be among the headliners at the 15th annual Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival, set to be held March 27 at Desert Breeze Skate Park in Las Vegas. Five Finger Death Punch, Escape The Fate, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Story of the Year and Never Shout Never also will be on the bill for the rock and extreme-sports festival, according to a press release.

For the first time, Extreme Thing will feature three stages for live music: the Verizon Wireless mainstage, the newly formed AP Stage featuring the Alternative Press Tour, and the XPOZ Local Band Stage.

Additional confirmed bands include Call The Cops, Hey Monday, Every Avenue, The Summer Set and The Ready Set More, with more acts to be announced shortly.

This year's extreme-sports events will include a Pro BMX dirt-jump competition, professional wrestling, and roller derby, as well as the Vegas AmJam amateur BMX and skate competition.
