Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's equipment stolen
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's personal storage locker was recently broken into and several pieces of vintage equipment were stolen, according to a statement posted on the band's website.
The equipment, which included 1968 Ampeg Scrolltop fretless bass, belonged to singer/bassist Robert Levon Been's father, Michael Been, who is the band's soundman, in addition to being a member of The Call.
Also stolen were a 1954 Fender Esquire (yellow with black pick guard), a 1964 black Fender Precision bass and a 1968 Gretsch Country Gentleman Single cutaway.
The band is asking that the word be spread to help recover the "extremely personal" items.
