The Who reveal Super Bowl setlist

The Who plan to play a "compact medley" of their hits during the band's upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance.

Pete Townshend said the halftime show will feature a mash-up of their signature songs, including "A bit of 'Baba O'Riley,' a bit of 'Pinball Wizard,' a bit of the close of 'Tommy,' a bit of 'Who Are You,' and a bit of 'Won't Get Fooled Again,'" according to a story posted on the band's website.

"It works--it's quite a saga," Townshend wrote. "A lot of the stuff that we do has that kind of celebratory vibe about it--we've always tried to make music that allows the audience to go a bit wild if they want to. Hopefully, it will hit the spot."

Super Bowl XLIV will take place Feb. 7 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

In addition to the performance, the band is selling specially designed Super Bowl/The Who merchandise at its website. The available items include T-shirts, coffee mugs, hats and a limited edition Alan Aldridge Super Bowl raglan shirt.
