The Palace of Auburn Hills, a concert venue near Detroit, was fined $600 for showing a sex- and violence-filled video prior to the Up in Smoke concert on July 11, the Detroit Free-Press reported. The Up in Smoke tour featured Dr. Dre and Eminem.

VH1 will air "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" from Nov. 13-17 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. The top five are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC and Metallica.

Britney Spears will host the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Jan. 8, Reuters reported.

Seattle will host Terrastock, an international psychedelic music festival, this weekend (11/3-5). According to the Seattle Weekly, the term "psychedelia" is loosely applied to this event. Artists include the Bevis Frond and Moe Tucker and Doug Yule, once of the Velvet Underground, who will reportedly perform separately and together.

Jimmy Buffett plans to open a new restaurant called Cheeseburger in Paradise, based on his song of the same name, The Associated Press reported.
