Timbaland brings 'Shock Value II' to intimate venues

Hip-hop sensation Timbaland has unveiled a three-week run of major-market clubs as he supports his just-released album, "Shock Value II."

The Virginia-born rapper/producer will begin the new road trip with a Jan.15 performance in Norfolk, VA, stopping by intimate venues in 12 cities nationwide through early February. The current schedule concludes with a Feb. 3 show in Dallas. Details are below.

Timbaland dropped his third solo set, "Shock Value II," earlier this month. The album, which peaked at No. 36 on The Billboard 200, features guest vocals from Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Nelly Furtado and Katy Perry, among others.

Several tracks from the new effort are currently streaming at the performer's MySpace page.

Earlier this week, Timbaland promoted his new release with a free concert and album signing at Universal City, CA's Hard Rock Cafe. While there, he also invited special guests Brandy, JoJo and Hayes to the stage.

Timbaland has collaborated on chart-topping hits with a variety of musicians, including Justin Timberlake ("Sexyback"), Missy Elliot ("Get Ur Freak On") and Shakira ("Give It Up to Me").
