Additional tour dates ahead for Joan Osborne

Singer-songwriter Joan Osborne will open another month of tour dates in Jacksonville, Fla., on Nov. 9 as she attempts to breathe some life into the sales of her latest album, "Righteous Love."

"Righteous Love" was released more than four years after Osborne's three million-selling Mercury Records debut, "Relish." Sales of the new album have been disappointing to date: it entered the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 90 on Sept. 30 and dropped off the chart after just four weeks.

Osborne was dropped by the Mercury/Island/Def Jam label in January, but she quickly signed a deal with Interscope Records, which released "Righteous Love."

Osborne's upcoming tour leg will focus on the southeastern U.S. in November, and will visit California and Washington in December. Her initial 2000 tour dates took place in September and early October.
