Bon Jovi adds Hawaiian bon voyage to 'Circle'

Bon Jovi has added several new dates to the band's 2010 tour schedule behind the recently released "The Circle," including a new launch date in Hawaii.

The group will now kick off the trek Feb. 11 and 12 in Honolulu, HI, before heading to Seattle for Feb. 19-20 shows. The band has also added a second night (2/27) in Anaheim, CA. The new Hawaii dates go on sale Saturday (12/12), while the second Anaheim show will be available beginning Dec. 14. All other dates are currently on sale.

The trek, as previously reported, will feature Dashboard Confessional as special guests for most dates through the end of April, and will run well into the summer months, concluding July 30 at Chicago's Soldier Field. Details are included below.

Released last month, "The Circle" is Bon Jovi's 10th studio album. The band worked with producer John Shanks (Sheryl Crow, Jane's Addiction) on the set, which immediately claimed the top slot on The Billboard 200, marking the group's second straight chart-topping debut and fourth overall. The album sold 163,000 copies during its first week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The album's first single, "We Weren't Born to Follow," hit radio airwaves in August, with a second single, "When We Were Beautiful," following in October.

The group's previous full-length effort, "Lost Highway," debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 in 2007, spawning the hit "(You Want To) Make a Memory." It was the band's first chart-topping album since 1988's "New Jersey."
