Matisyahu performs Christmas Eve in Philly

Matisyahu will perform a special Christmas Eve show in Philadelphia complete with a free Kosher Chinese buffet, according to a press release.

Tickets for the Dec. 24 concert, which will be held at the Theatre of Living Arts, will be available to the general public beginning tomorrow (12/4), though pre-sale tickets are available today (12/3) via Twitter promotion, using "light" as a password.

Matisyahu has embraced new technology when it comes to bringing his music and message directly to his fans. In addition to promoting his videos via YouTube and using a peer-to-peer ticket platform, he has chatted with and performed for fans every Thursday for the last month via Ustream, according to the release.

Matisyahu's new single, "One Day," from his latest album, "Light," is currently the theme song for NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympic games. The track has more than 4.4 million total plays on YouTube and MySpace.
