Billy Joel, Elton John put off shows until next year

Billy Joel and Elton John have once again reshuffled dates on the current leg of their Face 2 Face tour, with the pair moving a number of shows scheduled for this month to early next year.

No reason was provided for the postponements, but several shows were postponed and one date canceled last month due to John's bout with influenza and e-coli, and an unspecified illness that waylaid Joel. The next Face 2 Face show will now take place Sept. 3 in Seattle, with a second date in the Washington city following on Feb. 6.

Shows originally set for November in Seattle and a pair of Northern California cities are now set for Feb. 3 and 6 in Seattle, Feb. 13 in Oakland, CA, and Feb. 16 in San Jose, CA. Additionally, a pair of Upstate New York shows have been moved to March. Details are included below.

All tickets held for the original concerts will be honored on the rescheduled dates, according to John's website. Refunds will also be available at the point of purchase.
