3OH!3 hits clubs across the nation

Electronic/hip-hop duo 3OH!3 will take its energetic act on the road for a short tour of the US before year's end as the pair continues supporting last year's "Want."

The nine-date outing, which is spread across two weeks' time next month, gets underway with a Dec. 4 gig in Tucson. The pair--Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte--will venture all over the nation through the Dec. 19 conclusion in Denver. Details are included below.

3OH!3--named after the 303 area code of the two musicians' hometown of Boulder, CO--got its start in 2004 and released an independent, self-titled effort in 2007. The duo's major-label debut, "Want," hit shelves last summer and peaked at No. 44 on The Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the magazine's Top Electronic Albums chart.

The new set, produced by Matt Squire (Panic at the Disco, Boys Like Girls), features lead single "Don't Trust Me," which was co-produced by Benny Blanco (Spank Rock, Katy Perry) and is streaming at the duo's MySpace page.

"We combine hip-hop, rock, thug rap, country, classical, jazz, blues and all different kinds of music and try to make a little amalgam of all of them," Motte said in an interview with Denver weekly Westword in 2007. "Mostly, it's just important that we have fun when we do it."
