Snuggie up to the new Weezer album

Weezer has redefined the phrase "unique record promotion" with the launch of an official band Snuggie that will be priced at $30 via the band's website, and will come packaged with the group's new album, "Raditude," as a bonus gift.

The "blanket with sleeves," which will feature the trademark "Weezer" logo, is just one example of the band's "brand-new" collaborative approach to its art, according to a press release. Lead singer Rivers Cuomo also enlisted a wide variety of musicians, songwriters and producers--including Lil' Wayne and Jermaine Dupri--to help create the music on "Raditude."

Cuomo described the new album in a statement by saying, "It sounds like a roomful of people having a great time."
