Band of Skulls lines up fall tour slot with Metric

British alt-rockers Band of Skulls will return to the US next month to put in additional roadwork behind the band's March debut, "Baby Darling Doll Face Honey."

The trio--Russell Marsden (guitar/vocals), Emma Richardson (bass/vocals) and Matt Hayward (drums)--kicks off the run with a Nov. 15 headlining date in Brooklyn, NY, and then jumps on Metric's bandwagon for 14 additional support dates before finishing out the year with a Dec. 11 headlining show in West Hollywood, CA. Dates are below.

"Baby Darling Doll Face Honey," the band's debut album, surfaced earlier this year, spawning several singles, including "I Know What I Am," which was chosen as iTunes Single of the Week in March to coincide with the set's digital release.

Produced by Ian Davenport (Supergrass, Badly Drawn Boy) the album recorded at Radiohead's Courtyard Studios in Oxfordshire, England, and mixed at the House of Blues studio in Los Angeles.

The band recently contributed a song to the soundtrack of the forthcoming movie "New Moon," the installment in the vampire-themed "Twilight" series. The band's original song, "Friends," is the second track on the soundtrack album.
