Flyleaf maps course behind 'Memento Mori'
Alt-rockers Flyleaf will head out on a month-long club and theater run of the US this fall in support of their forthcoming album, "Memento Mori."
Following an Oct. 28 appearance on the late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the Texas-based band will kick off the tour Oct. 29 in Los Angeles, nearly two weeks before the new studio set hits shelves Nov. 10. The 14-city trek will take the rockers from coast to coast, concluding with a Nov. 23 concert in Atlanta. Details are included below.
"Memento Mori," Flyleaf's sophomore album, follows the outfit's eponymous full-length debut, which surfaced in 2005. The first record peaked at No. 57 on The Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the magazine's Top Heatseekers chart.
The quintet teamed up again with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects) for the new A&M Records release, which was recorded at Los Angeles' Bay7 Studios.
The forthcoming album's lead single, "Again," is currently streaming at the band's website and available for digital download at iTunes.
