98 Degrees plots six dates for December tour
98 Degrees has unveiled six December tourdates in support of its recently released album "Revelation" (Universal), according to the group's official website. The run is scheduled to kick off on Dec. 2 in San Jose, Calif.
Following the San Jose opener, the tour is scheduled to touch down in Houston, Auburn Hills, Mich., Camden, N.J. and Boston. The current itinerary ends with a Dec. 14 show at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
A number of additional potential tourdates from Oct. 23 to Dec. 17 are also listed on the itinerary posted on the band's official website, but no cities or venues have been specified.
In addition to the upcoming tourdates, 98 Degrees has several appearances scheduled on the NBC network. The group can be seen on the sitcom "Just Shoot Me" this Thursday (10/19), "The Today Show" on Nov. 22 and the broadcast of the lighting of the Christmas tree at New York City's Rockefeller Plaza on Nov. 29.
"Revelation" was released on Sept. 26, and features the single "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)." The single sits at No. 6 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart, down from No. 3 last week. The album itself, meanwhile, is currently No. 5 on the album chart, after debuting at No. 2.
98 Degrees' 1998 breakthrough album "98 Degrees and Rising" was certified quadruple-platinum in January by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipping more than four million copies.
