Hatebreed preps for 'Decimation of the Nation 2'
Hardcore metal purveyors Hatebreed will celebrate their self-titled new album with a North American run dubbed the "Decimation of the Nation 2" tour.
A handful of club dates precede the trek's official Nov. 6 kick-off in Cleveland. The excursion canvases the continent, dropping by theaters and clubs in 41 cities, including parts of Canada. A Dec. 20 performance in Philadelphia rounds out the tour. Details are shown below.
Cannibal Corpse and Unearth will tackle the outing's opening duties.
The tour supports Hatebreed's eponymous fifth studio set, which is due in stores Sept. 29 and follows the group's 2006 release, "Supremacy." One single from the new effort, "In Ashes They Shall Reap," is currently streaming at the band's MySpace page.
"I feel this new album is a true crossover record in the sense that our metal and hardcore roots are evenly represented throughout it," frontman Jamey Jasta stated on the band's website.
Fans can pre-order a digital download of the new album via iTunes or a larger bundle via the band's website, which includes a physical copy of the record, an LP version, an mp3 of "In Ashes They Shall Reap," as well as a T-shirt and poster.
