Jason Aldean continues 'Wide Open' outing

Country sensation Jason Aldean has expanded his summer run into the fall months behind his April release, "Wide Open."

The roadwork, which initially got underway in May, continues Friday (9/4) at Rockford, IL's On the Waterfront Festival and runs through an Oct. 30 performance in Murray, KY. Along the way, Aldean will visit arenas, fairgrounds and casinos in about two dozen more cities across the US, including appearances at Naperville, IL's Last Fling (9/5) and Lake Elsinore, CA's Wagon Wheel Festival (9/19). Aldean unveiled his third studio set, "Wide Open," in April. The effort debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and so far has spawned two No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart: "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor."

On Tuesday (8/25), the country singer released "Wide Open Live & More," his first-ever live concert DVD, which was filmed in March at a sold-out Knoxville concert.
