Jamie Foxx continues 'Blame It' tour

Jamie Foxx has tacked a handful of summer and fall dates onto his in-progress "Blame It" tour behind last year's "Intuition."

The R&B singer/actor/comedian kicked off the summer road trip in early July and continues with a performance tonight (8/28) in Jacksonville, FL. Since last check, nine cities have been added to the itinerary, as well as a second night in Atlanta (Sept. 6). Foxx will wrap up the tour with an Oct. 16 concert in Los Angeles. Details are below.

"Intuition," Foxx's third studio set, surfaced last winter, taking the top spot on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and peaking at No. 3 on The Billboard 200. The platinum-certified record--which features special guests T.I. ("Just Like Me"), Lil Wayne ("Number One") and T-Pain ("Blame It"), among others--follows Foxx's 2005 release, "Unpredictable."

A video for "Blame It" is currently streaming at the singer's website.

In 2004, Foxx won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Ray Charles in "Ray." Earlier this year, he returned to the silver screen in another biopic entitled "The Soloist," in which Foxx portrayed Nathaniel Ayers, a Julliard-trained musician who finds himself homeless and suffering from schizophrenia.
