Australian Pink Floyd Show headed to North America
Tribute act The Australian Pink Floyd Show will canvas North America this summer and fall as part of its "Big Pink Greatest Hits World Tour."
The roadwork, which begins with a Sept. 10 performance in Calgary, will stop by theaters and concert halls in 32 cities across the continent. Two-night stands in Minneapolis (10/2-10/3) and Pittsburgh (10/5-10/6) are also on the books. The tribute extravaganza concludes Oct. 27 at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. Details are included below.
Tickets for most shows are available now via Ticketmaster.
TAPFS's summer and fall outing will feature excerpts from a handful of Pink Floyd's legendary albums, including "Wish You Were Here," "Dark Side of the Moon," "Animals" and "The Wall," according to The Australian Pink Floyd Show's website.
Established in southern Australia in 1988, The Australian Pink Floyd Show has devoted its live shows worldwide to recreating the sound and experience of the original Pink Floyd's world tours with the help of props, lasers and the like.
