Kenny Chesney launches clothing line in Vegas

Kenny Chesney will launch his new clothing line, Blue Chair Bay, Aug. 31 at the MAGIC Marketplace apparel show in Las Vegas, according to a press release. Chesney will kick off his latest venture with an invitation-only concert Sept. 1 at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel.

The Blue Chair Bay line--described in a press release as a vintage brand of ageless, simple, laid-back styles for men and women--will include T-shirts, khakis, shorts and button-down shirts "with the feel of that shirt that you've had forever." Chesney reportedly was closely involved in the design process and also named a few items after friends.

The non-traditional exhibition booth for Chesney's clothing line--a vintage Airstream trailer--will be a first for the MAGIC apparel show. Blue Chair Bay also will host a Corona-sponsored happy hour Aug. 31 from 4-6 p.m. at the Airstream.
