Joshua Radin adds 'Simple' dates
Singer/songwriter Joshua Radin has added a second leg of headlining dates to his upcoming tour schedule, a fall outing that continues his support of last year's "Simple Times."
The new dates follow Radin's previously announced latesummer/early fall trek, which kicks off Sept. 9 in Norfolk, VA. Following an early October slate of European shows, Radin launches the US tour's second leg Oct. 28 in Los Angeles, with the jaunt concluding about a month later with a Nov. 22 Boston show. Dates are below.
Radin's international schedule can be found at s website.
On the road, Radin continues to support last year's "Simple Times," which hit stores in September and debuted at No. 34 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The singer's sophomore set, which was produced by Rob Schnapf (Elliot Smith, Beck), features guest vocals from a number of performers, including singer/songwriter Patty Griffin.
"[Griffin] did her vocals from her studio in Nashville and sent them to L.A. where we were recording," Radin told SoundSpike earlier this year. "We weren't actually in the same studio. But, in general, I think working with her was just incredible. It was a dream come true, really. She's one of my favorite songwriters in the world. That's why I asked her to do it. So, she said 'Yes' and said she would love to. I was like, 'Wow. I can't believe it.'"
Radin released his debut album, "We Were Here," in 2006.
