Reef delays U.K. outing until November
update: Reef has had to postpone its upcoming U.K. tour by a month due to singer Gary Stringer's bad knee. The band, which is best known for hits including "Place Your Hands" and "Come Back Brighter," will now begin its 16-date tour in Leeds, England, on Nov. 23 instead of Bristol, England, on Oct. 23.
All tour dates have officially been postponed. Tickets for original Reef tour dates are valid for the rescheduled dates, and refunds can be obtained until Nov. 3. Reef's shows at Dublin's Olympia on Oct. 24 and at Belfast's Limelight on Oct. 25 are to be rescheduled for February.
Stringer underwent his third knee operation in six years last Thursday (10/5), and has now been ordered to rest for six weeks before he can hit the road with the band.
The release of "Superhero," the second single from Reef's fourth album "Getaway," has also been pushed back to Nov. 6 instead of Oct. 30.
