The Offspring set to release advance tickets to upcoming tour
update: The Offspring, who earlier this week announced the first batch of on-sale dates and venues for its upcoming tour, plans to release advance tickets online to several California shows on Thursday afternoon (10/12). The group has also added one show to its itinerary, removed another and unveiled two more on-sale dates.
Tickets to the group's upcoming performances on Nov. 18 in Los Angeles, Nov. 22 in San Diego, Nov. 24 in Sacramento and Nov. 25 in San Francisco will be offered online beginning at 3 p.m. PT, according to an email announcement sent out to the band's Internet mailing list.
Tickets to all four performances will be made available to the general public this weekend, according to the announcement.
The group has also added a Dec. 12 performance in Pittsburgh to its itinerary. Tickets to both the new date and a previously scheduled Nov. 28 stop in Denver will go on sale on Oct. 21, according to the group's official website.
Removed from the band's itinerary is a previously announced Nov. 17 date in Anaheim, Calif., which was originally planned as the first date on the group's upcoming tour. No information on why the show is no longer listed was available at press time.
Cypress Hill and MxPx will support the Offspring on this tour. The Offspring will be touring in support of "Conspiracy of One," which is set for release on Nov. 14.
