Limp Bizkit, P.J. Harvey part of Big Day Out 2001

LONDON-- Limp Bizkit, P.J. Harvey and Rammstein are to headline Australia and New Zealand's next annual Big Day Out festival, which kicks off in Auckland, New Zealand, on Jan. 19, 2001. Other acts confirmed to play at the event--which occurs on six different dates in six different cities--include Placebo, the Happy Mondays, Roni Size and Reprazent and DJ Carl Cox.

The big-name foreign acts will be playing alongside popular Australian bands The Go-Betweens and Powderfinger. Rising Antipodean talent 28 Days, Killing Heidi, Friendly and Sonicanimation will also be taking the stage, as well as local talent from each city that Big Day Out is held in.

Tickets for next year's Big Day Out go on sale on Oct. 23 and are available from the festival's official website with more acts being announced as they are confirmed.

This year's Big Day Out line-up included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Primal Scream and the Chemical Brothers.
